Q: How Do I place a free property advert?
A: First you will need to register yourself or your company. You will then recieve an email which will allow you to activate you account. Then you can simply login and select Sell/Let. Here you will be able to give all your property details and upload any images. Your advert will remain listed until you decide to remove it.
Q: What's the catch? Is it free?
A: No there is no catch and yes it is free. Free Property Advert does not require any cash of any kind from you whether you are advertising on behalf of yourself or an estate agency. All we ask is that you use the site correctly, and make use of it.
Q: How do I edit my property advert?
A: Once you have created an advert(s) you can simply edit it by clicking 'My Properties' when logged in. Here it will list your advertisement(s) and allow you to edit the details or images.
Q: How do I contact an advertiser?
A: If you are looking at a property advert, there will be an option on the right hand side to 'Contact Advertiser'. This will then show you a window where you can contact the advertiser for any information regarding the advertisement via email.
Q: Can I use 'Free Property Advert' even if I have an estate agent?
A: Yes you can, and we would encourage you to tell your estate agent about this website too.
Q: How do I know how much my property is worth?
A: Check prices for other similar properties for sale in your neighbourhood and in the local papers. You can also check your local estate agents windows or get your property valued.
Q: How does 'Free Property Advert' make money?
A: Currently this website makes no money. It is our hope to grow in popularity and later be sustained by donations.
Q: How do I get people to see my advertisement?
A: Once you have finished an advert, you will see on the advertisement three boxes on the right hand site. These are different types of links to your advert which you can spead over the internet in forums, to friends and via email. Free Property Advert will also do it's part by making your advertisement search friendly and posting it onto Google Products.

Q: What is the URL field when placing an advertisement?
A: The URL field is a way to easily link to your advertisement. You simply input any word(s) (no spaces) which you think are relevant to your advertisement and the people searching for it too. So the words you select will then be placed after www.freepropertyadvert.com, like www.freepropertyadvert.com/YourText
